Mediothek Afghanistan officially launched its “National Youth Congress: Youth Peace Dialogues’ Outcome” on 10 October 2017 2017 in Kabul.
Participants of the Youth National Congress will discuss a broad range of topics concerning the role of youth lasting peace, security, good governance, peace-building, social justice, and development of youth networks and youth participation on national processes.
Provincial representatives of the “Youth Peace Dialogues” – organized by Mediothek over the course of the past three years across province - members of youth groups, civil society activists, Afghan Members of Parliament, peace experts, journalists and representatives of governmental institutions will analyze these issues in great detail, share views and expertise.
In the course of the two days participants will engage in lively discussions, experts will analyze topics through penal discussions and answer participants’ questions on each topic. Participants will also engage on group-work analyzing topics and sharing views.
Participants from provinces and the capital will work together to analyze their proposals peace, security, education, employment and job creation, election, youth political participation as well as social and political matters affecting youth and their livelihood.
The issues discussed and analyzed in the course of the provincial and local dialogues will be reviewed and discussed once again and the outcome will be officially presented to government officials and international organizations in the form of declaration by the National Youth Congress.
