Mediothek Afghanistan together with Afghan- German Development cooperation has organized the third media meeting in Kabul called “Afghan media for Social Responsibility (Family Violence and Media Reporting Approach).
The chief coordinator of Mediothek Mr. Hamidullah Zazai underscored the role of media in eradicating and trimming down family violence.
The head of Gender Mainstreaming Program at Afghan-German Development Cooperation, Katharina Hild also spoke about the significance of the issue and said that this an example of Germany support for Afghanistan, she added Germany has been working on development projects not only in Kabul but also numerous other provinces across the country, namely she pointed out to the efforts Germany for peaceful conflict resolutions, human rights activities and campaigns against reduction of family violence.
