Afghanistan’s Youth Network organized its second general meeting on 30th June 2022 in Kabul to promote inclusion and social cohesion for peace and sustainable development of the society. In this meeting 25 Young male and female of the Network’s members from Kabul province actively participated.
In this meeting, Mr. Karimi director general of Mediothek emphasized on the cohesion and capacity building of the youth in various areas that the Afghan society needs and added that without intellectual, linguistic, ethnic and religious cohesion, the success of a society is not possible. Building the unity and cohesion among the youth for a sustainable society are the main components, and this cohesion should create the basis for a peaceful and effective struggle and resistance.
Mr. Ahmadi head of Mediothek’s Kabul office stated that Mediothek Afghanistan has been the platform for those who had the goal of changing themselves and the society for more than twenty years, and this opportunity remains until now.
In the continuation of the meeting, the members of the Network expressed their views on how to integrate youth and the necessary programs to improve the capacity of youth, and emphasized that the Afghan society needs serious integration and effective and efficient activities in various fields. And asking Mediothek Afghanistan to cooperate with the youth in the fields of capacity building and youth empowerment.
At the end of the meeting, members of the Network in Kabul agreed that cohesion between the youth of the capital and the provinces is a necessary component, and we should all try to achieve it so that we can have effective programs in the field of capacity building and youth empowerment.
