Daily more then 100 young journalists, poets, writers and students are coming to Mediothek Media House Ningarhar to use the internet access and provided computer or opt to study in the library. From here, the journalist are writing reports and sending them to their agencies. In addition they are using the offered Internet access to check emails, searching and reading other websites. While this offer is a first step in the development of the professional capacities in the region, most of the journalists are not aware how to make further use of the internet.
Frequently asked question from the visitor provided a good opportunity for the media house team to setup an internet learning course. Here are the questions that have been dealt with in the workshop.

How make an account in Gmail and make use of Gmail?
How to take advantages of searching machines like Google and others?
The first course ran from 1st to 15th of April 2013. The second workshop aimed in particular at young journalist. It was offered from 16th to 30th of April 2013 to 15 students. Further workshops are planned in the following month.
