A five-day Election Reporting workshop started on 28th of Sep organized by Mediothek Afghanistan in partnership with Deutsche Welle Academy in Kabul.
The aim of this workshop is to develop a schedule regarding time and topics for reporting up to Election Day and beyond and to introduce the aspects of good election coverage for ten reporters of Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Khost, Paktia, and Kandahar provinces.
During the five-day workshop, the participants will get theoretical and practical information on specific challenges of election reporting in Afghanistan. The Election Reporting training is going to be conducted by two Afghan and German trainers as well as by guest experts.
In terms of workshop methodology, practical group work and group discussions on particular topics, especially with regard to election reporting in crises zones can be useful.
