Media House Kunduz conducted a two-day workshop on “Effective Report Writing”, the workshop was held in Media House Kunduz on the 26th and 27th of May of 2013. 12 journalists and reporters of different media institutions – participated in the workshop.
The 12 participants of the workshop had previously participated in the basic phase of the workshop and this time they had the opportunity to participate in the advanced phase of the workshop.
The workshop was instructed by Mr. Naseer Ahmad Waqif, a reporter of Aljazeera TV and a Kunduz based master trainer.
Discussions in the course of two days covered a wide array of issues, including feature writing, package, vox pop and forms of investigative reports.
In the first day, participants learned about a press package and practically worked on the production of a package.
The packages were evaluated and analyzed by trainer an the participants collectively.
Mediothek, and media house Kunduz has been consistently working in building the capacity of media and providing professional programs for journalists.
The main aim of this workshop was to strengthen the writing capacity of journalists in producing and writing different forms of reports in effective and professional manner.
The workshop was taught professionally, using modern methods and tools such as projector, PowerPoint presentation, conducting practical and group works, the program ended with distribution of certificates.
Participants were satisfied from the workshop and hoped there could more of such workshop in the future. Media house Kunduz have providing a wide range of services an programs including free internet access, free library, roundtable discussions, conferences, networking, summer academies, and special meetings.
