With over 500.000 inhabitants Mazār-i Scharif is one of the most famous cities in Afghanistan. Its blue mosque it attracted many international visitors before the war broke out.
To improve the training facilities of local journalist in this city of the Balkh Province, the Mediothek Afghanistan plans a new building. The layout of the building will support our goal to conduct further workshops and foster culture activity in this historic town. We are delighted to announce that the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) supports this project.
