Mediothek Afghanistan has been working for more than a decade in Afghanistan, among its other activities it has been proving opportunities and platforms for writers and poets to discuss and share their work with others and give people and students a chance to socialize and discuss topics of their interests.
On the Thursday, 9th of May Mediothek organized and hosted a poetry gathering in Kabul Afghanistan, the event was organized in partnership with Radio Arakozia, a Kabul based FM Radio station dedicated to supporting Afghan literature and culture.
Around 80 youth poets, writers, journalists and enthusiasts participated in the four-hour long event; the vent began at 5:00 pm local time and ended with serving Afghan food.
Mediothek Afghanistan is committed to promoting Afghan tradition and culture, including literature and poetry. It has been supporting writers and poets not only in Kabul but across the country through organizing programs and providing platforms to express their works, and this program serves as an example of its extensive efforts.
