Community Center Kunduz Mediothek was established on 16th August 2002, only months after the fall of the Taliban. Kunduz Mediothek was the first of its kind in the region offering cultural, educational and social programs. Kunduz Mediothek constructed its new building located in Dawra Township by the financial assistance of Japan Embassy and in cooperation of GTZ organization in Kunduz, and shifted to it on first May 2008. This new building has office rooms and a big conference hall which can give place for 200 people.
